Connie Nikas (Robert Pattinson) forcibly removes his brother Nick with functional diversity from a therapy session to rob a bank in the middle of New York City. Trivia
Using the correct vocabulary
The title 'Good Time' is prison slang. It refers to a reduction in a prisoner's sentence for good behavior.
A very real chasing
In the mall-chase scene, real police officers were hired to act in the movie. They didn't shut down the mall from the public, but filmed when the daily business was going on, so they had real reactions from real customers. Some even tried to stop the cops from chasing the actors.
Big success
After the screening at the Cannes Film Festival, the film received a six-minute long standing ovation.
