God's Town

The film tells the story of City of God, a neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, where in the 60, favelas were built to live there, although not in optimum conditions, people of Rio de Janeiro that have nowhere to live. In these favelas live fairly young offenders as Cabeleira, Nipper Marreco and forming what is known in the favelas as the "Trio Tenderness". They are dedicated to rob gas trucks and people too. Dadinho and B'nai (brother of Cabeleira) are children of 11 years following these three criminals and from that age are getting into the world of crime. In a robbery at a hotel, killing several people, which makes the police chase them and end the life of two of them.

Years later, Buscapé is who lives there, he is Marreco's brother, and he wants to get away from the world of crime, but not so easy to do that in City of God.
