Glimmers

Isabel (Patricia López Arnaiz) is a divorced mother who lives in her quiet home in the countryside. Her calmed routine takes an unexpected turn when she receives a sudden visit from his daughter Madalen (Marina Guerola). She announces to her mother that her father (and Isabel's ex-partner) is very sick, and asks her to visit him regularly to take care of him.

When she reluctantly goes to the place, Isabel will realize that Ramón (Antonio de la Torre) is angrier than ever: every time she comes home, he takes refuge in his room, and refuses to be helped. Although this opens new wounds at the very beginning, with the pass of time the couple will regain contact and discover that, despite everything that happened between them, their past still unite them.

With this, they can gradually manage to close the other's past and overcome their breakup, making clear that the affection they once felt has left a mark that will last forever. However, what will happen to the couple, especially Ramón, who is still ill?

'Glimmers' is a film directed and written by Pilar Palomero, screenwriter of 'Unicorns'. The title, produced by Caramel Films, is part of the official section of the 2024 San Sebastián Film Festival.
