Girls Lost

This drama directed and written by Alexandra-Therese Keining tells the story of three young girls who share a very intense friendship: Kim, Momo and Bella (played in the movie by Tuva Jagell, Louise Nyvall and Wilma Holmen). When, together, they plant a very special flower, its nectar will test their special relationship. It will make them experiment how it is to live as a boy. This movie deals with issues such as gender identity, how we create gender and how society tells us constantly who we must be in life. Besides, throughout the relationship between the characters, 'Girls Lost' defines itself as a little story about love and lust during youth. This feature, Finland and Sweden coproduction, is based on a young adult novel by Jessica Schiefauer.
