Girlfriends and Girlfriends

'Girlfriends and girlfriends' tells the story of a group of women who are all of them around thirty years old, but live as when they were twenty, although they are no longer young enough to become young promises. They are in love with love, but in the quest to find it, they destroy each other, going from ex-girlfriend to ex-girlfriend, from relationship to relationship.

With pop and autofiction as a backdrop and the appearance of a well-known singer who we never know if she's completely real or not, 'Girlfriends and girlfriends' is a story that begins when Zaida, after a breakup, returns to the city to start a new life.

Zaida Carmona is the director of the film, who also writes the script of 'Girlfriends and girlfriends'. She works on the script with Marc Ferrer, a screenwriter with whom she has already collaborated on other films. Carmona also stars in the film, she does so with Rocío Saiz, Alba Cros, Aroa Elbira and Thaïs Quadreny. Furthermore, the filmmaker is the executive producer of 'Girlfriends and girlfriends', a job also performed by Gema Arquero and Tatiana Fernández.

'Girlfriends and girlfriends', a production of JaJaJa Industrias y Fernández Vera, is a self-financed film produced by a team made up entirely of women and LGBTI people.
