Ghostlight

Dan is a middle-aged construction worker who is weighed down by a family tragedy. His family situation also causes him unease, as he has little relationship with his selfless wife Sharon or his talented but rebellious daughter Daisy. During one of his walks around the city, Dan finds that a nearby venue has a group of adults performing plays, which piques his interest and he ends up signing up. Thus, Dan finds in the amateur company of misfit actors and in Shakespeare's greatest tragedy the comfort he needed to deal with his deeper emotions.

Seeing that her father is behaving increasingly strangely, Daisy decides to follow him to discover the reason for his frequent outings. The young woman thus arrives at the theater company, where she sees Dan kissing another woman, which shocks her greatly, although she quickly understands, so she also ends up signing up for the company.

This dramedy is directed by Kelly O'Sullivan and Alex Thompson ('Saint Frances'). The film stars Keith Kupferer ('The Dark Knight') as Dan. He is joined in the cast by Katherine Mallen Kupferer as Daisy, Tara Mallen as Sharon, and Dolly De Leon as one of the theater companions.
