GHOST: Rite Here Rite Now

'GHOST: Rite Here Rite Now' (also known as 'Rite Here Rite Now') is a 2024 American concert film directed by Tobias Forge and Alex Ross Perry. Features Swedish band Ghost performing at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, during the final two dates of their Re-Imperatour U.S.A. tour. 2023. The film combines live performances with a fictional narrative based on a web series by the band, incorporating characters and a story surrounding them.

It will be released worldwide in theaters on June 20 and 22, 2024 through Trafalgar Releasing and will arrive in Spain on June 20 via Digital Version. Documents the Ghost shows on September 11 and 12, 2023, where the use of phones was prohibited to avoid recordings and photographs.

The film features live performances of songs from all five of Ghost's albums, including the hit "Mary On A Cross." In addition, it introduces characters known to fans of the band on the big screen, interacting with Pope Emeritus IV, whose destiny is in the hands of the Ministry.

'GHOST: Rite Here Rite Now' also includes a fictional narrative featuring characters such as Papa Nihil and Sister Imperator. Ghost frontman Tobias Forge explained that the film is the result of a conversation with Tom Whalley, CEO of Loma Vista Recordings, about the band's history. Alex Ross Perry mentioned that the film is inspired by works such as The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle by the Sex Pistols, the works of Ralph Bakshi, and Alive II by Kiss. Perry and cinematographer Robert Kolodny have previously collaborated on Ghost projects, including the music video for "Jesus He Knows Me" and the mockumentary Metal Myths: Ghost Pt. 2.
