Gauguin

The new project written and directed by the filmmaker Edouard Deluc introduces us to the life of the French painter Paul Gauguin, who at the end of the 19th century will travel to Tahiti in search of inspiration, after making the decision to abandon the artificial and conventional life he had in Paris with his wife and children and the need for a renewal in his art. Once he arrives at the paradisiacal territory, he will meet Tehura, with whom he will begin a loving relationship during the two years he remains there. The cast of the film is led by Vincent Cassel in the role of the painter, Tuheï Adams (who puts on the skin of the native Tehura), Malik Zidi, Pua-Taï Hikutini and Pernille Bergendorff as Mette Gauguin.
