Julie juggles to raise her two children on the outskirts of Paris without losing her job in a luxury hotel downtown. At the moment when he gets an interview for the job he had long wanted, a general strike breaks out that paralyzes the streets, preventing the circulation of vehicles on the road. She then begins a crazy race against time in which Julie cannot afford to falter.

According to the director and screenwriter, Eric Gravel, "the idea was to discover the character little by little, from an intimate perspective, in a macroscopic, sensory way, through that deep breath that envelops us, which indicates that we will be at his side throughout the film. Incredibly close to your breath, to the pores of your skin. It?s also a moment of calm before the storm. 'Full-time' is a long forward thrust, and that first scene is the prelude to the incessant movement that follows. It?s basically the only time of day that Julie rests: the moment, concrete and ephemeral, when she can recharge her batteries. After that, there?s no rest for Julie. From the point of view of this woman, alone with two children, I raise the problem of our rhythms of life and our daily difficulties".
