Freedom to Dreams

'Ciento volando' is a documentary that takes on the challenge of bringing to audiovisual language the unique experience of visiting, feeling, and living Chillida Leku. With this premiere, the aim is to achieve a unification and amalgamation of textures, scents, temperatures, and the very weight of the immense and eternal masses with color, light, and sound in a fragment of time.

The documentary by Arantxa Aguirre has been produced by A Contracorriente Films and Bixagu Entertainment. Its premiere occurs precisely in the year that marks the centenary of the birth of the artist Eduardo Chillida, who passed away 22 years ago on August 19, 2002. His legacy as a sculptor includes the 'Peine del viento' in San Sebastián, as well as large sculptures in cities around the world, such as Berlin.

Chillida Leku is the space that Eduardo Chillida envisioned, sought, found, and shaped alongside his wife Pilar Belzunce. It was conceived as a transitional place where each work could settle, finish being created, and find its place in the world.

But, over time, Chillida Leku has become much more than this. Beyond being a unique museum, it is a place where one can connect more intimately with the spirit and the way Chillida's legacy inhabits eternity.
