Plot
Taylor Swift surprised the whole world during the coronavirus lockdown with the announcement that she had recorded her new album, 'folklore', in quarantine. Now, the singer takes us again by surprise revealing that she also had time to direct a movie that will show the creating process of the album. 'folklore: the long pond studio sessions' shows how Taylor Swift, Aaron Dessner (The National), Jack Antonoff (Bleachers) and Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) came up with the ideas and recorded the seventeen songs in the album, with the struggle of being miles apart from one another. In the film we will also see Taylor Swift playing each one of the songs and telling the stories behind 'cardigan', 'the last great american dinasty', 'exile' and the others. 'folklore: the long pond studio sessions' was recorded using six mirrorless cameras Lumix S1H with Leica lenses, an Alexa LF with an Angenieux 24-290 in a robotic camera Furio with 30+ feet of curved way. The film will debut on Disney+ on November 25th, only a day after she made the announcement on social networks. 'folklore' broke several records when it was launched in streaming plattforms and it debuted on the top spot of the Billboard list, where it broke a lot of records too. Swift became the female artists that has spent the most times in number one of Billboard, beating Whitney Houston.
