First Girl I Loved

Kerem Sanga writes and helms this teen drama about the first love and self-discovery. Anne, 17, meets Sasha, a softball player and the most popular girl in her high school. Eventually, Anne starts to realize that she is falling in love with her, so she decides to talk to her best friend, Clifton. But his reaction is not at all what she thought, because he is secretly in love with Anne and can't bear the idea of her being lesbian. Anne decides to step aside and get closer to Sasha, but the situation will become difficult and unstable. 'First Girl I Loved' stars Dylan Gelula ('Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt') and Brianna Hildebrand ('Deadpool', 'Tragedy Girls'), and premiered at the 2016 Sundance Festival.
