Finch

Finch (Tom Hanks) is a robotics engineer who is one of the few survivors of the cataclysm that wiped out much of life on Earth. He lives for a decade in a bunker with his dog, Goodyear. Finch decides to build a robot, played by Caleb Landry Jones, to take care of his pet when he is gone. The humaniode, named Jeff, will try to learn life values, such as friendship, love and what it means to be human. All of this will take place on their dangerous journey across the American West. The engineer will face the challenge of getting the robot and the dog to get along, but it won't be easy. In addition to this challenge, the trio will have to deal with the problems of the new world in which they live.

The director and executive producer of the film is Miguel Sapochnik, who has been in charge of such well-known series as 'Game of Thrones' and its spin-off: 'House of the Dragon'. On this occasion, he has worked with screenwriters such as Ivor Powell and Craig Luck. It has also been produced by Kevin Misher ('Carrie'), Jack Rapke ('Roald Dahl's Witches') and Jacqueline Levine ('Welcome to Marwen'), as well as Powell.
