Ferrari: Race to Immortality

The battle to be the number one in the motor racing world was fierce in the decade of the 50s. The Ferrari Scuderia, lead by Enzo Ferrrari, would push their motors and drivers towards the edge, but that would turn the mortality rate on the circuits one of the biggest ever. Every Sunday, new champions would be created, but car accidents were in vogue. This documentary is based on the biography 'Mon Ami Mate', by Chris Nixon, that tells the life of drivers Mike Hawthorn and Peter Collins, two friends who were parte of the Ferrari team in the middle of this demanding times. Daryl Goodrich is in charge of taking this story to the screen, on his second documentary after 'We Are the People We've Been Waiting For', where he discussed the educational system in USA.
