A sick and old shepherd lives in the woods in the outside of Barcelona with his herd of sheeps, but he's not isolated. He lives alongside a high technology laboratory which experiments with animals to find the cure for Covid-19. The shepherd knows that his job is disappearing and meanwhile, the scientists are more occupied than ever.

Scientists and sanitary investigators are working hard in their laboratories to find the Covid-19 vaccine. Two opposite worlds so close and yet so far away from each other. A story about human relationships, animals and science in a moment of time where we find ourselves in a post-pandemic scenario.

Meanwhile the old shepherd watches how his job is being erased from the map, the scientists are at the highest point of the public sight and at the moment of more work of their whole career. A documental about disease, rural and modern life, technology, changes in society and Covid-19 with continued transitions between both worlds.

Written and directed by Pau Faus and cowritten by Sergi Cameron and Júlia R. Aymar. A witty vision of the differences we find in modern society and the needs that have to be covered in each moment of history. With a soundtrack by Israel Marco and Quim Ramos and a photography by Carlota Serarols.
