Fátima

'Fatima' is an inspiring film about the power of faith and the miracles that happened in the city of the same name. Directed by the Italian filmmaker Marco Pontecorvo, the film will address a new approach to the apparitions of the Virgin that happened in the Portuguese town at the beginning of the 20th century and that has made it one of the most important Christian pilgrimage points in the world.

Portugal, 1917. Three children claim to have seen the Virgin Mary in the small town of Fatima. Their revelations, far from pleasing, will enrage the Government and the Church, which will try to force them to retract their history and assume that everything has been a lie to seek attention. But, as the news of his prophecy spreads, thousands of pilgrims will come to Fatima with the hope of witnessing a miracle and also seeing the Virgin.
