Father There Is Only One 4

Santiago Segura returns, synonymous with box office success. After releasing two family comedies in 2023, 'Summer Vacation' and 'Christmas in Their Hands', although the latter was directed by Joaquín Mazón, the fourth installment of the 'tribe' led by the comedian himself, his daughters Carla and Sirena, and Toni Acosta ('My Great Night', 'The Best Summer of My Life') arrives. They will be joined, as in previous films, by Leo Harlem, another frequent collaborator who we have seen in 'As God Commands', Silvia Abril, also present in the last two installments of 'Torrente', Loles León ('Here There's No One Living', 'The One That Is Coming') and El Cejas.

It is worth noting that all the previous releases, launched in 2019, 2020, and 2022, like other recent sagas created by Segura such as 'All Aboard', have been undeniable public triumphs at the national level. For this chapter, the family returns to everyday life, that which dictates the routine.

The script, as usual, is written by the director, actor, and producer himself along with his collaborator Marta González de Vega. She has also worked on the scripts of other domestic comedy fictions such as 'Gym Tony' or 'From Little Red Riding Hood to Wolf', as well as in television programs, notably 'The Comedy Club'.

'Father There Is Only One', in its origins, was a remake of the Mexican film 'Mom Went on a Trip', directed by Fernando Sariñana and also released in 2019.
