Plot
After taking us to visit the National Gallery in London and the Jason Heights community in his previous works, with 'Ex Libris: The New York Public Library', the filmmaker and documentary maker Frederick Wiseman takes us to the public library in New York City. The film moves viewers to what is one of the largest knowledge institutions in the world, showing the different resources that the library uses to inform and educate through conferences, books, concerts or classes while the film shows its emphasis in examining how this legendary institution has managed to adapt to the new digitalization processes without neglecting its usual activities. Frederick Wiseman himself directs and products the film.
