Plot
Inspired by the amazing events that took place in 1996 during an attempt to reach the highest pike in the world. 'Everest' describes the shocking journey that to expeditions had to face when one of the most complicated and devastating snow storms ever seen isolated them in the mountain. The character of the alpinists is in the stake when they have to fight against the wild rage of nature and get through impossible obstacles in a desperate attempt to survive. The most important thing won't be to get to the top, but to stay alive.

Rob Hall (Jason Clarke) was the first person to climb Everest 5 times, his wife Jan (Keira Knightley) went on to be the second New Zealand woman to summit Everest. (Lydia Bradey was first).
