Esperando a Dalí

In 1974, a young cook named Fernando leaves Barcelona behind alongside his revolutionary and innovative brother Alberto. They end up on the Costa Brava, where the food Fernando prepares turns the world of gastronomy upside down in the town of Cadaqués, where the surrealist artist Salvador Dalí also lives. Wanting to seize the moment, Jules, the extravagant owner of the restaurant where the brothers work, sees this as an opportunity to fulfil his great dream: that one day the painter comes to eat at his restaurant.

The filmmaker David Pujol has already launched a pair of documentaries based on Salvador Dalí. The first one was 'Dali's Last Masterpiece', which focuses on the Dalí Theatre-Museum, and the second one was 'Salvador Dalí: In Search of Immortality', which details the relationship between the artist and his wife Gala.

This time, Pujol writes and directs this comedy feature film where he involves the artist in his own way. The film stars Clara Ponsot, Ivan Massagué, José Garcia and Pol López, while the rest of the cast includes actors and actresses such as Paco Tous, Vicky Peña, Nicolas Cazalé, Varvara Borodina, José Ángel Egido, Christian Stamm, Francesc Ferrer, Guillem Balart, Pep Cruz and Bruno Raffaelli, among a few others.
