Escape

N (Mario Casas) is an unhappy man who is not able to adapt to the world and the circumstances that surround him. He is an asocial person who does not want to take decisions in his life. So, he decides that he wants to go to prison to live in there. He begins to commit criminal acts for achieving the goal: he breaks shop windows, steals, drives dangerously...

Despite this, he has not murdered anyone, so the judges refuse to grant his wish. However, N will finally manage to enter the place after trying to sneak in it. In there, the prisoners and members of the security will show him why he should never have gone behind the bars. On the other hand, his sister, Abril (Anna Castillo), will do everything to free N and return him to society.

Produced by Martin Scorsese, 'Escape' is a film directed by filmmaker Rodrigo Cortés, who also writes the script with Enrique Rubio. The film is a thriller with black comedy overtones that takes inspiration in films like 'The Shawshank Redemption', where a prisoner tries to escape from prison. In this case N is the one who wants to enter in it instead of leaving it.

The cast is completed by Blanca Portillo, José García, Guillermo Toledo, José Sacristán, Josep María Pou and Juanjo Puigcorbé, among others.
