Biopic about Elis Regina's career, (Regina is played by brazilian actress Andréia Horta) one of the best brazilian singers of all time. Elis Regina managed to pass through the Bossa Nova and update the BPM, brazilian popular music. The film tells the story of her life from the very beginning up until the end of her short but intense career, full of changes, reinventions and internal struggle. A fight against her own fears and inner demons. The film is set on a complex historical context, the military brazilian dictatorship, an historical context that the singer lived.

This film is the debut on the big screen of brazillian filmmaker Hugo Prata, who had worked on brazilian TV shows un until this point.
