Elevent Silent Men

Based on real events, 'Elevent Silent Men' presents the story of the "eleven silent men", as were known in Britain in 1945 the players of the Russian football team the Dynamo of Moscow. After World War II, the first post-war international championship is held. For a tournament, the Russian team travels to London and makes a historic tour of Britain to then face the undefeated team of the country. There, these eleven Russians will have to not only face their English rivals, but also try to deal with the ravages of local unscrupulous bookmakers who will try to rig the match results by all means, even accusing Russian players of infiltrating Soviet spies.

The Russian film is directed by filmmaker Aleksey Pimanov ('Krym ', 'Zhukov') and debutant Ekaterina Pobedinskaya, following the script of the brothers Oleg and Vladimir Presnyakov, authors of the screenplays of titles such as 'Proigrannoe mesto', 'Crush' or 'Mister Nokaut'. The film stars Russian actors Aleksandr Alyoshkin, Polina Bakharevskaya, Artyom Bashenin, Dmitriy Belotzerkovskiy, Sergey Belyaev, Adler Bessalakh, Andrey Chernyshov, Ramaz Chiaureli, Stanislav Kolodub, Roman Kurtsyn, Vyacheslav Morozov and Alexey Chechukevich.
