Elemental

'Elemental' is Pixar's 27th feature film, based on an original idea. The story, inspired by Sohn's childhood in New York and specifically by his parents, who immigrated to the United States from Korea in the 1970s, takes place in Element City, a city where beings made up of the four elements of nature live together: fire, water, earth and air. Wade (voiced by Mamoudou Athie) and Amber (Leah Lewis) are a water boy and a fire girl who meet and, despite being made up of opposite elements, make a surprise discovery: that they have a lot in common. Amber is strong, witty and has character, and Wade is calm, sensitive and funny. Their friendship will change their perspective about the world they live in.

Directed by Peter Sohn, who's been part of the cast, animation team and creative team of other movies like 'Toy Story 4', 'Lightyear', 'Luca', 'The Good Dinosaur', Monsters University', 'Ratatouille', 'Brave', 'The Incredibles', 'Coco' and 'Finding Nemo'. The script is written by John Hoberg, Kat Likkel and Brenda Hsueh. Produced by Denise Ream ('The Good Dinosaur', 'Cars 2') and Pete Docter ('Inside Out', 'Soul').

In addition to Athie and Lewis, lending their voces are actors and actresses Ronnie Del Carmen, Shila Ommi, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Catherine O'Hara, among others.
