Plot
This animated film tell the story of how was the first journey around the world, based on the story of the Spanish Juan Sebastian Elcano and the Portuguese Fernando de Magallanes in the sixteenth century. This expedition started with a group of sailors making a trip to the unknown and with the objective of arrive to Molucas Islands, situated next to Indonesia. This virgin territory, full of animals and plats that goes further than the imagination, will take this sailors to deal with storms, hunger, natives and all kinds of problems. Only 18 of the 240 sailors that left Seville came back alive.

'Elcano y Magallanes: la primera vuelta al mundo' is directed by Ángel Alonso and written by Garbiñe Losada and Jose Antonio Vitoria. The film has a great soundtrack composed by Joseba Beristain.

Changes in Magallanes
In contradiction with the film, Magallanes did not exercise as a father figure for Elcano, but to enrich the fiction, it was decided to endow them with this relationship.
A young public
All the projects are destined to scholar public (between 4 and 17 years old), and among them incluyes a documentary, an app, a videogame and some educative material.
A perfect occasion
The project was born to give greater relevance to their protagonists because, outside the borders of Spain, they are practically unknown characters. And taking advantage of the 500 years that are fulfilled of such an event, it was the perfect occasion to take their story to the big screen
