El rey tuerto

After becoming one of the theater plays of greater success in recent years, 'El rey tuerto' ('El rei borni') will have a film adaptation directed by its author and director, Marc Crehuet, who made his feature film debut with this movie. 'El rey tuerto', like the theater play, will feature a cast formed by Miki Esparbé, Alain Hernandez, Betsy Túrnez, Ruth Llopis and Xesc Cabot.

The film will tell the story of Ignasi, a young man who lost an eye after suffering an attack of a riot with a rubber ball. However, he and his attacker David, will meet by chance when one night, the young man appears in the policeman's house. This is only the start of a black comedy that talks about the vulnerability of the convictions, the imposition of social roles and the search of the truth.
