El gran gato

A musical documentary which delves into the memories left by the extraordinary composer, lyricist and singer Javier Patricio ?Gato? Pérez while we attend a concert with fifteen of his songs performed by popular singers of the current musical scene in Spain. Memory (document) and legacy (work) coexist in the narration and help us to understand Gato and an era of immigration and a cultural and idiomatic melting pot, sedentary gypsies who created the Catalan rumbo, yearnings for creation around Zeleste, the efforts and wearing down of anonymous artists ? a testimony to the struggle and the will to live of a whole generation. This documentary is directed by Ventura Pons and it's produced by Els Films de La Rambla.
