The Fourth Passenger

'El cuarto pasajero', follows Julián (Alberto San Juan), a 50-year-old divorced man who uses the famous car-sharing app BlaBlaCar, where he meets Lorena (Blanca Suárez), a young woman who often travels to Madrid and who, for months now, has had a fixed seat in his car. The trips together lead Julián to develop feelings for her and, taking advantage of his new journey, he decides to open up to her. However, a mistake when choosing the other passengers (Ernesto Alterio and Rubén Cortada), including the most unbearable individual in the world, will cause a radical change in the course of events. Directed by Álex de la Iglesia and co-written by him and his regular collaborator Jorge Guerricaechevarría, 'El cuarto pasajero' is a fun road comedy produced by Telecinco Cinema, Pokeepsie Films SL and Te Has Venido Arriba A.I.E., with the participation of Mediaset España, Movistar Plus+ and Mediterráneo Mediaset España Group, with theatrical distribution by Sony Pictures Entertainment Iberia S.L.U. The film was shot in different locations in Madrid, País Vasco and La Rioja. The rest of the cast is completed by Jaime Ordóñez, Carlos Areces and Carolo Ruiz. 'El cuarto pasajero' will be released in Spanish cinemas on 28 October 2022.
