Neither the NGOs with which she collaborated nor the Spanish Embassy managed to find her back then, but a photo found in a mining town in eastern Congo puts back the track on her disappearance. So, Laura decides to undertake a dangerous journey to the Congolese capital, Kinshasa, to find her sister and will not stop until they are together again. But along the way she will be forced to challenge the warlords and discover the bitter truth of the ins and outs of international powers in the Third World. The production of the film is done by Telecinco Cinema and Ikiru Films.

Drones
A big part of the film was shot using drones, because it was cheaper than helicopters.

Prior to the writing of the script, Belén Rueda, the producers and writer Jorge Guerricaechevarría went on a trip to Congo in order to gather information. They travelled as backpackers, and the actress found the experience very useful to prepare the character of Laura.
Uganda, not Congo
The film's shooting did not take place at Congo, due to the dangerous situation the country lives, but in Uganda.
