El crack cero

Coming to cinemas is the prequel to 'El crack', a film by Jose Luis Garci. In this black and white film, 'El crack cero' returns to the more sordid, completely unrecognisable Madrid of the 70s. The young inspector Germán Areta (Carlos Santos) investigates the 'Benavides Case': after the suicide of the famous tailor Narciso Benavides, his lover becomes convinced that he did not commit suicide, but was murdered, leading to Areta being placed in charge of the inquiry six months later.

In this new instalment of the trilogy we'll be able to see the characters as they were in their youth; the moment in which Areta sussed out El Moro (Miguel Ángel Muñoz) and the beginnings of the already classic detective agency, in a new film written and directed by Garci and starring an incredible cast.
