Plot

Violence is, unfortunately, something that now occurs every day throughout the world. Murders occur everywhere ranging from New York to Miami, going through to Rio de Janeiro, Mexico and Buenos Aires. 5 stories of violence become connected between different characters who are unknown between each other, but they all start forming part of the same story. It's not about who the murderer is, because they all are, instead it is about why they committed the murders.

Directed by Paul Leduc, this is a film about the globalisation of violence and the violence of globalisation. It is not a violent movie, instead it is a film based on different stories of violence coming from the Brazilian writer Rubem Fonseca, well known for his writings on contemporary violence. Looking at different types of violence from different extracts of his books the film delves into deep issues surrounding the violent societies we have found ourselves in today.
