El amor de Andrea

In this film, directed by Manuel Martín Cuenca, you are going to live Andrea's story. After her parents divorce, her father leaves their lives never to return. The young girl wants to recover that relationship so she is going to start to live a series of adventures in order to find him.

At only 16 years old, guided by the memories of a happy childhood, with a loving man, she will begin her journey. Andrea does not understand how she could give up her children without saying goodbye, so she will begin a very personal journey, guided by curiosity, anger and nostalgia. On her way, she will be accompanied by Tomás and Fidel, her two little brothers. Together with this family image we can enjoy situations in which love, the feeling of protection and sometimes disappointment reign.

The Spanish indie group, Vetusta Morla, will liven up the tour with their music to help us get under the skin of this group of young people.

"Can anyone demand love?" is one of the questions that Manuel Martín, the director, has asked himself. "Even when we are talking about our own family, a father or a mother, there is nothing more complicated than a relationship with this demand. Children are innocent, but in their territory the battles of adults are fought" he argues.
