Ebre, del bressol a la batalla

'Ebre, del bressol a la batalla' is a Catalonian film. The story happens in 1938, when thousand of young boys, who are between 17 and 19 years old, enlist in the republican army because of Manuel Azaña's request. A lot of people have dead since conflict started and population spirits are very bad. The situation is uneven. While the coup army take the nazi german's help and the support of the Italian fascists leaded by Mussolini, the republican army doesn't recibe any support of any European country because they are concentrate on being careful with Hitler trying to avoid another world war. 'Ebre, del bressol a la batalla' is directed by Román Parrando. Oriol Pla ('Truman'), Àlex Monner ('The Red Band Society') and Kimberley Tell ('Everlasting Love') are the protagonist of the film.
