Earwig and the Witch

Goro Miyazaki directs the first film by Studio Ghibli fully computer animated, 'Earwig and the Witch'. His father, legend Hayao Miyazaki, planned the story based on a novel by Diana Wynne Jones. Keiko Niwa and Emi Gunji pen the script. Earwig is a 10 year-old orphan girl who has a curious ability: she can convince anyone to do whatever she wants. She's the queen of the orphanage. That's until a man and a woman with strange looks arrive and adopt her. The woman is actually an angry witch called Bella Yaga who wants Earwig to become her assistant. Earwig's power doesn't seem to work in her new home.
