Plot

Denis Villeneuve will direct 'Dune: Part Two', the second part of the renewal of the legendary 'Dune' saga. The story will focus on the next chapter of Frank Herbert's popular novel 'Dune', with a stellar and international cast that has new additions.

The film, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, is the continuation of the six-time Oscar winner in 2021. It is still based on the adaptation of Frank Herbert's bestseller 'Dune' with new stars and others returning as Oscar-nominated actor Timothée Chalamet, accompanied by Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh and Dave Bautista, among others.

What is it about?

'Dune: Part Two' will delve into the mythical journey of Paul Atreides as he joins Chani and the Fremen in a war of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. He will have to choose between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe as he fights to avoid a horrible future that only he can foresee.

The film is produced by Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Villeneuve, Tanya Lapointe and Patrick McCormick. Executive producers are Josh Grode, Herbert W. Gains, Jon Spaihts, Thomas Tull, Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt, Kim Herbert, with Kevin J. Anderson serving as creative consultant. Villeneuve returns to collaborate with the creatives he worked with on 'Dune'.

Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer returns to score the film, which was shot on location in Budapest, Abu Dhabi, Jordan and Italy.

Song about Dune with Walken

Christopher Walken plays Emperor Shaddam IV. Coincidentally, Walken starred in the 2001 music video for the Fatboy Slim song 'Weapon of Choice', a song which includes several references to 'Dune' ("Don't be shocked by the tone of my voice", "Walk without rhythm and you won't attract the worm").
