Dramarama

'Dramarama' is a comedy film set in the 90s that tells the story of a group of friends celebrating the end of summer with one of their traditions, a mystery and murder sleepover. The teenagers play a kind of "Clue" where they themselves are the protagonists, something they do as a farewell before heading off to college.

But Gene, one of the members of the group, wants to confess to them that he belongs to the LGBTQ+ community despite the fear of what they might think about it and how they will react. After revealing this, the gathering turns into a whirlwind of emotions in which the friends will have to reflect on issues related to friendship, identity, and the future, in addition to deciding what stance to take regarding their friend's revelation. Prejudices and fears of each of them will come into play, and they will confront who they are themselves.

Directed by Jonathan Wysocki, the film combines his sensitive and human touch to address important themes such as identity and acceptance in adolescence. It stars Nick Pugliese as Gene, alongside Anna Grace Barlow as Rose, Nico Greetham as Oscar, Megan Suri as Claire, and Danielle Kay as Ally.
