Don't Tell Me the Boy Was Mad

Aram, a young marseillais of Armenian origin, explodes Turkish diplomat's car in Paris. At the time this happens, Gilles Tessier one rider passes over there and hurts himself. To avoid consequences, Aram flees the country and joins the Army of Liberation of Armenia in Beirut. Aram's mother visits Gilles in the hospital to apologize, but he wants to meet Aram, who caused him all the pain. When the rider reaches Marseille to revenge Aram, Aram's family welcomes him and he decides to stay with them. Aram who isn't comfortable with his teammates in Beirut decides to return and meet his victim. Written and directed by Robert Guédiguian, this film was selected at the International Festival of Valladolid in 2015.
