Don Verdean

'Don Verdean' (Sam Rockwell) is a self- biblical archaeologist whose misadventures begin when the pastor of a small town decides to hire him to find a relic in Holy Land that will help revive the faith of his community.

Verdean begin his journey full of confidence and really believes he is gonna succeed with a task that has resisted for years to better qualified professionals and not only he fails in his mission, but he complicates the matter far more while trying to cover up his failure.

The filmmaker Jared Hess ('Napoleon Dynamite', 'Nacho Libre') directs this comedy with a script written by himself and Jerusha Hess, in a film in which also stars Amy Ryan, Jemaine Clement and Danny McBride.
