Plot
Dolores Huerta was an activist who waved the conventions on gender in the 1950s. Along with César Chávez, she created the first union of workers in the country, fighting against racism and discrimination against immigrant farmers. However, her struggle ended up becoming a demand for gender equality after being expelled from her own union. 'Dolores' is a documentary that focuses on the figure of the activist, who actively fought to connect her new feminism with racial and social justice, dealing with 11 children from three different marriages. Peter Bratt ('The Mission') directs this documentary produced by Brian Benson ('The Diary of a Teenage Girl') that intersperses interviews and statements from the garden itself with those of relatives and prominent personalities such as Hillary Clinton or Angela Davis.
