Disenchanted

It has been 10 years since Giselle, princess of Andalasia, left that kingdom, went to New York and married her non-Prince Charming. Now that they have become parents of a new baby, the Big City no longer fills her with enthusiasm and the whole family decides to move to the quiet town of Monroeville, in search of a life that is more like a fairy tale.

Unfortunately, things there already have a natural order and Malvina Monroe, the queen bee of the place, will make Giselle feel more out of place than ever. Frustrated that things aren't going the way she hoped and that happily ever after isn't that simple, Giselle turns to Andalasia's magic, accidentally transforming the entire town into a real fairy tale and putting her family's future happiness in jeopardy. . What place can she occupy in history now that she has gone from princess to stepmother? The villain maybe?

Disenchanted: Giselle Returns stars Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, Maya Rudolph, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jayma Mays, Gabriella Baldacchino, as well as Idina Menzel and James Marsden. The film is directed by Adam Shankman from a screenplay by Brigitte Hales and a story by J. David Stem & David N. Weiss and Richard LaGravenese. Barry Josephson, Barry Sonnenfeld and Amy Adams serve as producers.
