Plot
Michael Bosworth (Mickey Rourke) is a psychotic criminal who has achieved escape from prison, helped by his lawyer, a woman that he seduces without any problems. Nevertheless, while they try to make the Bosworth's gateway, she's left behind. Then, he decides to wait her to come to him, but he needs a place to be hidden. That's place will be the house of the Cornells, provoking so much problems to the owners of the house. Michael will try to control all the movements of the family, with the objective of don't go back to prison. What they do't know is that an FBI agent is following his footsteps, using the lawyer to lead them to Michael Bosworth.
The cast is completed with the actors Anthony Hopkins and Mimi Rogers as the Cornells.

A history that repeats
This remake of the classic 'The Desesperate Hours' was made and released in 1990 which was about thirty-five years after this original movie had launched in 1955. The picture was the third English language version of the story being made and released about twenty-three years after 1967's second version 'The Desperate Hours' (1967) which was made for television.
Mickey Rourke
