Plot
After two and a half years of filming, the director of 'Cantábrico', Joaquín Gutiérrez Acha, and producer José María Morales, return with another documentary. 'Dehesa, el bosque del lince ibérico' takes us to the beautiful pastures of the Iberian Peninsula, ending the trilogy of 'Cantábrico' and 'Guadalquivir'. The pastures of the Iberian Peninsula are a unique habitat in today's world in which holm oaks, cork oaks and gall oaks form the ecosystem where large herbivores, majestic hunting eagles and the largest reptiles in Europe lie in wait for the mongoose, among many other creatures, and where you can see amazing camouflages of various predators under each flower. It is also a calm and quiet place in which the viewer will be awed by the diverse discoveries and natural sensations that populate it.
The pastures can also be a quiet and calm place where thousands of travelers come from alll over the world in search of the most sought-after products of the area: acorns, which are the currency exchange that trees use with animals to preserve their existence. In this place all kinds of fauna and flora are connected. Among the animals that inhabit it are the Iberian lynx and the imperial eagle, which we will not find anywhere else on the globe.
