Plot
'Danny Says' is a feature-length documentary on the life of Danny Fields. The film directed by Brendan Toller and produced by Pamela Lubell, tells the story of how Fields changed the music culture in the 20th century. Since 1966, he has played a pivotal role in managing groundbreaking artists such as the Stooges and the Ramones. Throughout his career he has also worked with the likes of Doors, Cream, Lou Reed, and Nico and Judy Collins. The documentary follows his journey, from Harvard law dropout, to the Director of Publicity at Elektra Records, to punk pioneer and beyond. In January 2016, Magnolia Pictures acquired the worldwide rights to the documentary. The cast includes music stars such as Alice Cooper, Gary Lucas and Wayne Kramer.
