Plot
The documentary immerses the viwer into the staging of the choreography of the Ninth Symphony of Beethoven. The symphony was represented by the company Béjart Ballet of Lausana. The documentary covers the history of this work, the challenges of its multicultural representation, the rehearsal, the methodical and hard work of the dancers and the collaboration between the Swiss formation, the Tokyo Ballet and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Zubin Mehta. It was a fascinating collaboration with multiple levels of complexity. The result was one of the most successful and impact choreographic events of the 21st century, that now has its own documentary.
