Plot

The world of Any changes completely after seeing how his mother is hurt during a robbery. Andy is sent to Cuernavaca, a small town in the south of Mexico, to her grandmother (his father?s mother). He has never met her or told about her, so it?s hard for him to get closer and trust her. There he meets the gardener?s son, in who he starts to trust slowly. Andy demands to go with his father, but it doesn?t seem possible for the moment. His grandmother, tired, says to him that she is thinking about sending him to a boarding school far away from Cuernavaca.

Andy meets in Cuernavaca a diverse group of people who will teach him the positive and negative part of life at a very early age while his mother is fighting between life and death. He will have to face the coldness of his grandmother, the seductive and dangerous world of the gardener?s son and the search of his father.

This is the first movie for the Mexican filmmaker Alejandro Andrade, who was inspired by her grandmother's garden in Cuernavaca y the painful secrets she had to keep for a long time. It stars Emilio Puente, Moisés Arizmendi ('Club de Cuervos', 'Por amar sin ley'), Mariana Gajá ('El Chapo', 'Como te ves, me vi'), Diego Álvarez García y Carmen Maura ('Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown', 'How to Be a Woman and Not Die Trying').
