Plot
Ryan Coogler gets behind the camera to direct what will be the first spin off of the famous 'Rocky' saga. The emblematic figure of Sylvester Stallone is relegated to a second place in 'Creed', film in which all the attention falls on Michael B. Jordan, the actor responsible for playing Adonis Creed, the son of Rocky Balboa's (Sylvester Stallone) archenemy, Apollo Creed. The young boxer with crazy skilled and talented, had no chance to know his father, who died before he was born, yet no one can deny that carries boxing on his blood, so he decides to go to Philadelphia looking for Rocky to be his mentor. The veteran, despite saying a thousand times that he is no longer part of the boxing world, sees in Adonis the strength and determination from his father and decides to train him. Tessa Thompson (Bianca), Phylicia Rashad (Mary Anne Creed) and Tony Bellew ('Pretty' Ricky Conlan) complete the cast of this film also written by Coogler.

Trivia
The movie that Michael B. Jordan and Tessa Thompson are watching when they fall asleep on the couch is the James Bond film 'Skyfall'.
This is the first film of the saga in which Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) has not fought, sticking only to his work as a mentor of Adonis (Michael B. Jordan).
The first draft of the script, which had 204 pages, was reduced and the end was changed several times, coming up to shoot two versions of it.
