From the director of 'Haute Cuisine' and 'Les enfants' and winner of Best Actor and Best Screenplay at the 72nd edition of the Venice Film Festival, Judge Michel Racine is president of the criminal court in a small French town. He has fame to have iron hand both with himself and with others. His nickname says it all: "The judge of the two figure" because CEL penalties are more than ten years. However, everything changes when Racine meets Miss Ditte Lorensen-Coteret. She is a member of the jury that will judge a man accused of a murder. Although it seems that has nothing to do six years ago Racine was secretly in love with Ditte. In fact, it was the only female why this strict judge has fallen in love.
