Francisco Contreras Molina, better known as El Niño de Elche, is one of the most controversial singers on the Spanish music scene in recent years, with albums such as 'La exclusión', 'Colombiana' and 'Voces del extremo'. Through this documentary, we will delve deeper into the musician's life, thanks to the testimonies of Paqui and Aladino, his parents, as well as the rest of his family and friends, who will provide photographs of his childhood and home videos where his passion for music and singing was already beginning to show. Other artists will also talk about him, such as Angélica Liddell, Pedro G. Romero, Raúl Cantizano, Israel Galván and C. Tangana, with whom he collaborated with C.Tangana, with whom he collaborated on songs such as 'Un veneno' and 'Tú me dejaste de querer'.

It has been written and directed by Marc Sempere-Moya ('Los días que vendrán') and Leire Apellaniz, who has worked on other documentaries such as 'Las letras de Jordi' or 'El último verano'. They have worked with the studios Código Sur Producciones and Señor y Señora, and Márgenes has been in charge of its distribution. The film has participated in several festivals, such as the Seville European Film Festival, L'Alternativa Films Festival in Barcelona, the Márgenes Film Festival in Madrid and the Doclisboa International Film Festival in Portugal.
