'The Companions' is the new film by French director François Favrat. The story follows the life of Naëlle, played by Najaa Bensaid. She is a 19-year-old girl with a complicated past behind her. During an integration workshop, Naëlle strikes up a relationship with the instructor of the workshop. Hélène, the instructor given life by Agnès Jaoui, her instructor, gets the young protagonist a training in a guild of craftsmen. Despite her past mistakes, Naëlle manages to find her way in life, which would not have been possible without the support of Hélène and Paul (Pio Marmai), the master craftsman who advises her. Our protagonist will manage to make her way in the fascinating world of stained glass and will realize the importance of the values of peers, which are not just empty words.

The cast of 'The Companions' includes Najaa Bensaid, Pio Marmai, Agnès Jaoui, Soriba Dabo and Youssouf Wague, among others. The film is written by Johanne Bernard and François Favrat. The soundtrack was created by Éric Neveux.

The film will be distributed in Spain by Vercine and in France by Wild Bunch Distribution, and it´s producted by Soyouz Films. 'The Companions' has an approximate running time of 110 minutes and will be released in Spanish theaters on October 28th, 2022.
