Coming Home in the Dark

During an excursion along the desolate road of an endless valley, Alan and Jill stop their vehicle to walk for a while with their teenage children through the nature of New Zealand. When they are ready to enjoy a small snack, two vagrants appear out of nowhere and surround the peaceful family. In an unexpected act of violence all the members are kidnapped, causing a series of terrible events from which it seems that there is no possible escape.

Daniel Gillies, Erik Thomson, Miriama McDowell, Matthias Luafutu, Billy Paratene and Frankie Paratene are the main cast. James Ashcroft directed and co-wrote the screenplay alongside Eli Kent.
